Malta has been selected to host the latest EuroPride event. In celebration of this significant occasion, the Central Bank of Malta has commissioned a unique commemorative coin, minted by the Royal Dutch Mint.
The Malta 2 ½ Euro 2023 ‘EuroPride Malta’ in coin card has a bright design with, both the obverse and the reverse, a rainbow, the most well-known symbol for the LGBTI+ community. The obverse of the coin contains several elements from Valletta in Malta, which makes it a cheerful image. The reverse of the coin has the logo of the Central Bank of Malta on it, with below the year 2023.
